Health Wealth & Happiness

For many years David has been studying the health, wealth and happiness of all individuals. His keen interest in the title prompted him to take action and get the “book” underway. With the combination of his own experiences and those of his wife Sonja he has been able to accumulate a vast knowledge of alternative care. After several illnesses using traditional western medicine he finally decided to de-bunk the existing myth about alternative care, but only after getting better from illnesses that traditional medicine could not cure. Today there are very compelling reasons to look at other alternatives. Unfortunately the USA has the highest per capita health care costs in the world and one of the world’s worst records for health care. Over 90.000 people die each year from hospital infections for a cost of $9.5 billion dollars. In 1990 there were 23.000 approved FDA prescription drugs. Today there are 123.000. 57% of Americans have one or more of the major diseases like heart problems, cancer, diabetes or obesity. Forty seven million Americans do not have health insurance. These are truly alarming numbers.

We are developing several strategies for the marketing of the book which include on line purchase by chapter, on line assessment testing and an extensive resource center to help people get good information from the website links of each contributing author. A three day licensed seminar is planned to incorporate all the health wealth and happiness principals in addition to traditional publishing.

TRIUMPH OVER TRAGEDY
In 1986 our Son enlisted in the US Air force. After basic training in Texas he was sent to Germany where he was an ordinance technician working on a hot tactical base. Eighteen months later we received that dreaded call that all parents fear. He had a critical illness and after a Congressional enquiry he was emergency air evacuated to Wilford Hall Medical Center in Texas. He was honorably discharged for medical reasons. Since then he has been hospitalized 37 times, has had dozens of emergency treatments and hundreds upon hundreds of shots for his chronic pain problems because he has permanent nerve damage. After fourteen years and another Congressional enquiry he was finally granted his pension. This is the story of how this event has impacted our Son, his family and how we all survived and finally gained victory over tragedy.
